Recovery is a journey, and it is one that is achieved together. We understand how difficult it can be to see your pet in pain, recovering from injury, or facing changes in their mobility. That’s why we are here to support you and your companion every step of the way.
At Pet Therapy Rooms, we work in partnership with you and your pet to help them regain comfort, strength, confidence, and mobility. Through personalised rehabilitation plans and compassionate, evidence-based care, we aim to empower owners with the knowledge and support they need while enabling pets to live happier, healthier lives.
Our mission is simple: to help every pet achieve their best possible quality of life.
Jane Charman founded the practice and is a Veterinary Physiotherapist dedicated to helping pets live happier, healthier, and more active lives.
She graduated from ARU Writtle in 2021 with a First-Class Master's degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy and is also a qualified Canine Hydrotherapist with an advanced Underwater Treadmill qualification.
Jane has a special interest in post-operative rehabilitation, helping pets regain strength, movement, and confidence after surgery. She believes the best results come from working closely with owners and tailoring treatment to each pet's individual needs.
As a University Lecturer, Jane is also involved in teaching and research, helping her stay up to date with the latest evidence and best practice in veterinary rehabilitation.
Meg graduated from Harper Adams University with a Distinction in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2024 and has since gained a Level 4 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy.
She enjoys helping pets recover from injury, surgery, and long-term conditions by combining physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. Meg has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and creating treatment plans that are tailored to each pet's needs.
Meg also has a particular interest in French Bulldogs and Old Time English Bulldogs, understanding the health challenges these breeds can face. She works closely with owners to help every pet achieve the best possible quality of life.
We are a CHA registered centre and members of RAMP and NAVP.
